Materials
Approximately 75 yards of yarn (more if using sock yarn)
Size 9 needles (or size 4 if using sock yarn)
Ponytail elastic, 1 for each ponytail holder
Method
Cast on 12 stitches.
Knit in garter stitch (knit every row) for 9 inches.
Bind off.
Sew together the cast-on and bound-off edges.
Place the ponytail elastic in on the wrong side of the fabric, and fold over the long sides. Sew together.
